"A pot of tea with two china cups, a bread knife, tissue paper, three candles (from natural products), a Gillette Mach 3 Turbo razor, kosher cheese, organic milk, twelve bottles of Volvic or Fiji water, real butter, marmelade, organic potato chips (crisps), fruit bowl with oranges and bananas, Uncle Sam breakfast cereal, a packet of raisins, two bottles of soy milk, two loaves of bread, eight large towels, eight small towels. In addition the band had an equally long list."

    These are his requirements to perform, correct?

    Who is responsible for getting these items/paying for the items?

    The list is very simple and modest, I might add. If I were in charge of getting the items- I might honestly screw up. Knowing me I'd get the cheap towels?!?!?

    Believe it or not- it is hard to find some of the food items Morrissey likes here in Indiana- or Chicagoland for that matter! (I live very close to Chicago). The Fiji water (I saw this brand on stage)- is not easy to find, and I love it.

    I wonder what the band requires-???

    was infamous for its animal testing practices at one time -- have they since put a stop to that? Not calling foul on Moz, just curious.

      I remember reading an old rider (could even have been from the Smith's days) that required a bottle of red wine, cashews and 2 green apples, among other things - oh, and a cupcake!

                              I didn't see anything outlandish. I've seen ridiculous riders. Even crappy Paige Davis from Trading Spaces has a rider than includes drinks with "only soy milk" etc. (used to work in a bookstore that had author signings). I think Moz is a big enough star- he deserves some treats:)
