Morrissey 12/1

...Finally, Morrissey is a 12/1 shot. The former front man and inspirational lyricist with The Smiths, came back after several years in the cold, with “You are the Quarry” in 2004. The purists loved it, but it is doubtful whether that is enough to take the accolade.

      Still gotta be worth a punt if only out of loyalty and the forlorn hope that some kind of shady Far East gambling syndicate have got the whole thing rigged.

        I've been getting a niggling feeling the last few days that a huge shock might be on the cards. It just may well be that Moz pulls of the biggest upset in Brits history and wins this award.

        I thought at first that The Streets would win - but I've changed my mind thanks to Lady Intuition

        I've placed my bet already - c'mon Moz!

          Like others on the board, I feel that victory may well be in our grasp. Every now and then the Brits do something crazy (sometimes with good reason!) and this year it might well be Morrissey walking off with the gong.
