      I probably shouldn't but i've always found Lennon hugely irritating.

        bytheway- anyone who would want to question Lennon's place at #1 is a fool. sure, you can make a strong arguement for Elvis, but John deserves it as much or more than anyone.

        I always think that Morrissey appearing in these polls is a mixed blessing. In one way it's good that he is in there, but in another way it's kind of confirming that as far as some people are concerned there are ten artists who are better than him. Can you quantify these things, and isn't Morrissey outside of all this? FIRSTODIE
