Swedish paper NÖJESGUIDEN ("The Entertainment Guide") ranks YATQ as the second best album of the year!
Their verdict:

2.
Morrissey
You Are the Quarry
Attack/Sanctuary/BMG
Seven years of waiting was over, Steven Patrick Morrissey had a record-contract again & the new record was eh... different. Simpler both in lyrics & music, more accesible, polished, experimental (transverse flute!) & rather rocky. But eventually nothing of that mattered & a big moment of music developed. You Are the Quarry was angry, low-spirited, dissapointed, affectionate & self-righteous -- everything we've learned to love with a new Morrissey-album. A surefire comeback.

The Libertines is ranked as #1, & number 3, 4 & 5 goes to R. Kelly, Ron Sexsmith & Phoenix.
