Sure I wont be the only one to post this, but I believe Morrissey will be a guest of arch nemesis Steve Wright on BBC Radio 2 Monday 13th Dec at 2pm-5.

This should be interesting if Morrissey manages to get a word in! I'm sure most are aware that Steve Wright is the alleged inspiration for the Smiths 'Panic'

I'm afraid it'll be all too civilised. I hope Morrissey won't refrain from making cutting comments, but we may well only be treated to politeness and chuckles. If Morrissey even comes close to forgiving Mr Wright (who never is...) for the whole post-disaster Wham! debacle, I'll be very annoyed.

Release the Venom, Moz! You know we love it more than the cute, lovable Grandad image.

interesting, never thought mozz would agree to steve wright's constant urgings of we're trying to get morrissey on the show, well he does constantly play his songs, and he has, the most popular radio show in the afternoon, obviously a promotional thing, i think you'll hear the relaxed mozz on the janice long show, late into thursday night, they have been friends for many years, janice has been a long time smiths/mozz fan, and i look forward to her show the most

The only trouble is that Morrissey is in Glasgow that evening performing to thousands.

Steve Wright broadcasts from London at about the time the band would be sound checking.

Even if Moz had a private jet, which he don't, he wouldn't be able to do this interview in the studio. It must be a phone chat, or at best a studio link with BBC Scotland. Or am I REALLY missing something?

You may have noticed that most interviews on the Steve Wright show are incredibly smooth with very few pauses. This is because they are mostly pre-recorded and edited really well. If Morrissey is to be in Glasgox tonight then I can only assume this interview has already taken place or is taking place this morning. This is great publicity! Morrissey Top 10 in the xmas chart? No problem!
