Popmatters revisits Hatful of Hollow

Anthony Patterson writes:

Sal Ciolfi, a writer at the brilliant online magazine of global culture, www.popmatters.com, says that Hatful of Hollow is her favorite album of all time, "There aren't many bands within modern English language pop music that can elicit heartfelt sighs, and much less in today's mainstream. Often it doesn't seem possible that something or someone could come along and be cared about as much as the Smiths' rabid fans still care about them."

An excellent album! "Oh you handsome devils!" I recall my first listening of this CD ( well, I had it in cassette lol ). Transforming! Gets my vote!

......is superb, and ties with 'The Queen Is Dead' as my favourite Smiths album (ok, it's a compilation, but it hangs together SO well). Like all Smiths albums, it is a procession of spellbinding songs. Magical.

but does anyone know if that article has been through an internet translator. It's very odd if it was originally written in English.
