Stefan Krix writes:

The platinum edition of YATQ has been postponed a fortnight. The new release date, according to onlinestores such as Amazon.co.uk or HMV.co.uk is now November, 8th.

I do not know about the reasons yet.

Why not release the Platinum Edition on the original date, then release a new Platinum Special Producer's Cut Edition on the new date?

          morrissey's new single - reviewed! (Score:0, Flamebait)
          Hi evereyone josh here,

i've just bought the new single and thaught you might be interested in my 'views' on it (plese read even if you are not interested, and i'd like to read yours too, they are also valid). I could only get one of the versions so far, so here it is... (dotdotdot)

"Can I Kiss You" - it sounds a bit familiar, as if i've heard it before. Wasn't it on the album? i like the guitar and its a bit like one of the smiths instrumentals (money changes everything or the draize train?). i think it will go to number one, or it should anyway. he's got a good voice and writes good lyrics, hasnt he? i mean doesnt he? i think those are two things about him i particularly like.

"Dont Laugh at My Voice" The song starts with energetic music and then a voice is heard. could it be... yes! it's Morrisey himself. He sounds annoyed but asured. i wonder what the song is about and imagining the video and i think it is (probaply) like this... (dotdotdot)

the song is about a ventriloqiusts child who is laughing at his dad. his dad is furious and is shaking the puppet child around. he puts him in a suitcase. (i hope he drills air holes). then he gets arrested by a policeman from another country (is it france?) who is saying "you're under arrest, Mr Morrisey, let that ventreiloqiusts child go and live free as nature intended him to".

so once again Morrissey produces a provockative and contraversial song. the ventriloqiust child might disagree but he would say that wouldnt he?

i haven't heard the song 'i am two pepole' yet, but i would like to. i xpect it is about cloning, a bit like that film the fly where he gets mixed up in a teleport macjhine. have you seen it? he ends up with claws instead of arms. in the wrong hands claws can be lethal.

i hope you enjoyed my review, its just my 'impresion', no offence meant,

          best wishes josh.

Obviously Sanctuary heard that my student loan is thus far 6 weeks late in getting to me (and counting). So naturally, not wishing me to lose out, they put the release date back to give me more time to accumulate the necessary funds. Thanks guys. That's business with the human touch. ;-)
