Joseph Arthur played a small show at the Point in Bryn Mawr, PA (Philadelphia area) on Sept 12, and finished with a fantastic cover of "There is a Light That Never Goes Out", changing the verse sections into a major key. Everyone was literally stunned by his passionate homage.

    A big star like, erm what was his name again, to do a cover by one of the greatest songwriting duos of all time, who would of thought it eh? M&M must feel that their creative lives have now been justified.

      i'll bet that sounded great. he's playing a small venue in LA in October and opening for REM on the part of the current tour. if you like joseph arthur, check out pete yorn who has also been know to cover Smiths songs along with his buddies Minibar
