Texas Re-Routing
September 21, 2004 Due to availability we have had to re-route a couple of our dates in Texas. An announcement on rescheduling the El Paso show will be announced shortly. The new dates are:

10/27 - Dallas, TX Will Rogers Auditorium
10/28 - Houston,TX Verizon Wireless Theater
10/29 - Austin, TX The Backyard

All tickets will be honored on the 2 new dates.

A radio station in El Paso is saying the El Paso date is cancelled. shoplifterromo writes:

Just days after tickets to his November 1st, County Coliseum, show in El Paso, Texas, promoters today announced the date has been cancelled. Local radio station KHRO added there will be no makeup date.

I find the deafening levels of hysteria generated by our dear American cousins, everytime Moz cancels or re-schedules a show over there, as predictable as they are tedious.

For someone who has been suffering from Depression for more years than many on this site have been alive, I think Morrissey does tremendously well to honour as many of the engagements as he does. After all, the nature of his condition means that at any given moment he could spiral down into the all too familiar depths of despair that can leave him feeling profoundly lethargic & almost completely debilitated.

Either that or he suddenly remembers he has millions in the bank & doesn't have to get out of bed if he doesn't want. I don't blame him.

So stop bleating & get to another show instead.

Of course, we in the UK couldn't care less if the entire American Tour is scrapped. In fact, we secretly hope that it is!! hahaha

Roll on Dec 18th, Earls Court, London ;-)

Moz is coming to South America (Score:1)
Im quite sure that these cancellations and re-schedulled dates are because hes is making free dates for a South American dates. It seems that his date at Persona Fest, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is something 100% right. And, of course, his management is trying to add other dates in Brazil and Chile at least. Maybe Mexico too. He had enormous audiences in all these countries when he came in 2000 tour. So is very natural he is coming again.
