    So Morrissey jogging past someones house means a reunion is in the works? I used to walk past one of the Smashing Pumpkins houses all the time when I lived in Chicago, so I guess that must mean I'm joining Billy Corgans new band.

      The most interesting part of this story is the revelation that he goes jogging! Has anyone heard of that before? You think he'd be a bit slimmer.

      I hope he's not turning into Madonna! It'll be Kaballah (sp?) next!

          I don't believe it. Not the possible reunion, but Morrissey jogging. (Now, if the story said that Moz was seen coming out of johnny's house in the wee hours of the morning, the we'd have a story!)

              I wasn't going to send it in as a news item because really, it isn't...BUT...since the topic is already here to be debated: the person who handles Johnny Marr's affairs here in the US has mentioned possible reunion plans to a dear friend of mine.

              I know, I know. It's all heresay, but I DID here it and so I might as well pass it on.

                Does anyone remember a Smiths tribute on TV (Score:0)
                Unrelated somewhat to the quite ridiculous story contained in perhaps, the worst British Sunday paper, but it has got me thinking. A number of years ago, and I think it must have been around 1988/89, there was a mini-documentary on TV about the Smiths, or rather, a documentary about certain sycophantic fans. The cameras followed a load of Smiths fans across Manchester as they checked out Salford Lads Club, The Holy Named Church and so forth. I seem to remember it was a bit like the video for "There is a light... (is that correct - the kids on bicycles)". Does anyone have it on video, or remember seeing it?

                How anyone could dispell a story from the people as a joke i do not know. The People is one of the most credible newspapers in Britain and I can confirm the Smiths re-union story is true. I actually edit the People and next sunday there is a two page article on the reunion with exclusive pictures of Morrissey doing press-ups in Mike Joyce's front garden. Be sure to look out for it.
