Morrissey – Dublin date

I has been revealed that Morrissey will perform for one night only at the Point Theatre, Dublin on 20 December 2004. Tickets go on sale, Thursday 23 September 2004 from 09:00.

Morrissey crowns his most successful year since the demise of The Smiths in style, with a one off date at the Point Theatre, Dublin on 20 December. After a seven year hiatus, Morrissey made one of the most successful comebacks ever, with the hit album You Are The Quarry lapping up the critics praise throughout the music press from the NME to Mojo, and the singles Irish Blood, English Heart and First Of The Gang To Die dominating the airwaves.

Tickets to see Morrissey go on sale, Thursday 23 September 2004 from 09:00 and will be available from Ticketmaster.ie.

I know the announced general onsale date is the 23rd of September; which doesn't leave much time, but as we know the tickets for his Dublin Castle gig went on sale (without an advance notice pre-sale email or whatever) almost a week before the announced date.
