Morrissey/The Smiths are featured in the brilliant SHAUN OF THE DEAD ("A romantic comedy. With zombies.")(http://uip.co.uk/romzom/). 26 minutes & 50 seconds into the movie, there is a 2 & a half second clip of PANIC; "Panic on the streets of London..." on a TV screen just when the zombie havoc is starting...

Seems to be a parody of "Dawn of the Dead". I might want to check that out. As far as horror movies go, this isn't the first time one has featured a Morrissey/Smiths song. Precisely, "Panic". This song was also on the 80's b-movie horror flick "Demons 2" as teenagers were being eaten in a movie theatre. Very romantic.

This was already mentioned on Morrissey-solo, but since someone brought it up, you might as well go here to read a little more about the film:

        Dear Rome,

We would love to have "Zombie Morrissey" in our next flick. Instead of feasting on brains, he will dine on artichoke hearts.

        Sincerely,

George A. Romero, Tom Savini, and Dario Argento
