Nancy Sinatra sings "America Is Not The World" at Italian Fest in Milwaukee and Dedicates it

I was one of the unlucky ones that couldn't go to last weeks show in Chicago, but I went to Italian fest on Sat. the 27th and Nancy Sinatra was one of the key performers.

She had already started when I was walking up to the Briggs and Straton Stage. She was singing "America is not the World" and had a slide show of pictures of Morrissey and herself displayed behind her as she sang the song. The crowd was loud, so I couldn't tell how good of a rendition her song was, and nobody there really seemed to know who Morrissey was, but when it was over I most certainly made a cheering arse of myself.

I have nothing to back my idea up BUT it is possible that Moz and Nancy Sinatra are dating? I know they are working together, but when you see them in pictures together they both look so damn happy together. Just a feeling I had for a moment. I'm prob way off since Nancy is a BIT older than him, but hey..I hope when I'm her age I look like her and get young dudes too!!
I'm not trying to start a rumour..I was just curious if maybe it was common knowledge and I was out of the loop or something..

I don't believe there is any great romance between them.
I do believe she has a little crush on him.

and who could blame her! Welcome to Our World, Nancy.

Pretty strange to hear of her singing Moz's America tune which rips Bush (the line about the blue eyes or whatever) I wonder if her relationship with Moz was strained at all after she showed up at the White House lawn to offer Bush her support. Wonder if Moz has seen this article/picture:

If you get a chance to see the BBC special "The Importance of Morrissey" which aired in late 2002 or early 2003, it depicts the relationship between him and Nancy. They make it seem like any of his other interesting friendships. He puts on a Diana Dors 45 LP, the song entitled "So little Time" right before they show her coming over.
He stated, "American society would consider her to be royalty, I do not see her as royalty, I see her as Nancy, really. It think in the history books her father is one of the most famous people in human creation, more famous then most royalty." They show her coming over for tea, they hug, talk, and then they interview her and she talks about what a great hugger he is.
I think he has a thing about getting to know women who were pop icons in the 60s. That's all.

The only reason Morrissey and Nancy are so friendly, is because she happens to be his neighbour in LA.

I wonder what would have happened if Moz lived nextdoor to Celine Dion or George Michael.
