I am sorry but to compare Robert Smith (as famous and as mainstream as Duran Duran, only posing as a "rebel")who now looks like an old transvestite hooker on crack, and sounds EXACTLY like he did back in the 80's; with Morrissey, the greatest lyricist of his generation (who has aged beautifully) is ludicrous. Besides, Morrissey didn't come back. He never left!

It's no real surprise that a number of 80's artistes are enjoying renewed interest in their work of late. Great Act's will always be Great regardless of the generation we live in.
The kid's will always sneer at anything from the bygone era, that's just human nature.
For some reason, which I still can't understand the 80's has always had a bad reputation.
I'm 35. Maybe i'm blinkered because I was an 80's kid...but you can't tell me it was half as bad as the current music scene.
Oh No....I think my Dad said that to me about the 50's.
