Pat Reid's long-awaited book on '80s icon Morrissey is now available. Go to this link for a look at the rather lovely cover.

Pat comments: "It took us so long to finish the book that the unthinkable has happened and Morrissey is fashionable again..."

There will be a launch party for the book at Bristol's Il Bordello on Tuesday 13 July, from 8pm. Admission is free and all are welcome. Pat will be reading from the book, signing copies and playing Smiths/Morrissey music and groovy related sounds (from the New York Dolls to Franz Ferdinand) all night. Special guests to be confirmed. Il Bordello is a bar on a boat on Welsh Back, opposite the Premier Lodge. Further details: www.ilbordello.co.uk

Is this book any good? (Score:0)
Or is it another attempt to yank Morrissey out of the closet type of crap?
It is now on sale at amazon.co.uk, just so you know. Can't say I'm not tempted...
