                I saw the questions part of that, it was on the mrs shanklys site. I think its funny! I finally understand what this american 'emo' thing is by looking at those moz fans.

                not very funny. it sounded like craig kilborne has no idea what morrissey fans are like. "goth"? blacx kmake up? sounds liek he's talkign about cure fans to me. most morrissey fans I know are a little more into pompadores and rockabilly than black make up and depression. dude needs to smarten up. i was severly turned off by the segment. just my opinion though.

                of course it was inaccurate, but this is very mainstream comedy, making fun of something very un-mainstream as if it were mainstream. which says something about morrissey's prominence. (i won't say return to prominence because he never was.) the guy singing suedehead cracked me up -- how many people in the United States even know this song and he's making a parody of it? he knows it, we know it, the unwashed US masses will say "i think i know it", and before you know it, everyone will know it, and just like that moz will be more popular than hamburgers.

                  I have always found his "fondness" for Morrissey to essentially be mocking. He's a frat boy who is "curious" about the other side, kinda like closet cases, who deal with it by making fun of it... Maybe Morrissey canceled because he is sick of the likes of Kilborne -- and not just sick.

                      i was there the night they were out there on 4/23. they seemed to be interviewing random folks and everyone who participated got a kick out of it. the segment wasn't horrendous. i thought it was kinda funny, although at times oboxious. anyway that's all. p.s. get well soon moz.

                          I'm a fan of Kilborn, but that could change. It now appears that Morrissey wasn't sick after all, so he must be pissed at Kilborn for something. I'm sure it will come out at some point. Personally, I felt that CK was mocking Morrissey during the lead-up to the big week. As for the clip on the fans, the only thing I found funny was the guy who could name all the anti-depressants. I think they went out of their way to find people who they think fit the mold of Morrissey fans. Given Moz's success over these many years it's very clear that he appeals to a very wide base of fans. Hell, I'm 40 years old and have two kids. I guess I used to look like some of those kids back when I was going to Smiths concerts, but that was a long time ago. I think most of Moz's fans are like me -- you wouldn't know us to look at us. My 2 cents.

                                Maybe Morrissey cancelled after he saw Craig Kilborn/LLS clip "Sebastian: the Asexual" icon. It's on the same page as the Morrissey concert fans clip (did you notice that it wasn't funny because the interviewer didn't really pay attention to the people's answers?) and it shows Craig holding a flower, (hmmm who could that be?) acting very camp, and talking about how sex repulses him, etc. Morrissey doesn't deserved to be mocked like that by the LLS anyway considering Craig sought him out.

                                    the only part I didn't really think was funny was when he was singing "Suedehead" - no one seems to get it! When he sings "I'm so sorry," he's not being sincere! Morrissey's being an asshole, going "I'm sorry, but I can't stand you." Then he admits his true feelings when he goes, "Oh, it was a good lay though..."
                                    That's one song not about Moz being miserable! (Same goes for "Girlfriend in a Coma," another example people misuse.)
