Cancellation of "An Evening With Oscar Wilde" (Meltdown)

After contacting someone in charge of the MELTDOWN Festival via the website for the Royal Festival Hall, I have finally heard back from someone regarding the cancellation of the event, "We Are All In The Gutter: An Evening With Oscar Wilde," which was scheduled for June 13th as part of Morrissey's MELTDOWN Festival.

According to the co-coordinator for the Meltdown Festival, "the Oscar Wilde evening has indeed had to be cancelled. The original director of the event dropped out and we were unable to find a suitable replacement."

When I had also asked if Mr. Merlin Holland (Wilde's grandson) was considered amongst the "Special Guests" I was told, "As far as I'm aware Merlin was not part of the original line up."
