Apparently, Andy would not rule out the possibility of a reunion one day. Errr..... perhaps someone should tell Morrissey?!

Also, re:the Morrissey gig, the article quotes Andy: "I would had loved to have gone but it would have been chaotic and too distracting for all parties concerned." But apparently a lot of fans DID see him on Saturday night at the MEN Arena. Is this true?

he did not look to be enjoying himself at all! he managed some polite applause but got visibly pissed off with Moz at certain points especially when Morrissey said that stuff before Rubber Ring about the past.
odd that Rourke bothered to go at all.

I was at the Moz-bus, which was brilliant, I even got tears in my eyes when we reached his paternal house and 'Back to the old house' was on ...
I remember Andy Rourke asking some fans inside Salford Lads, if they were going to the gig. My impression then was that he was planning to go himself.

Greetz to Phill (won't forgot your afterparty soon; + thanks for everything, mate!!),Gemma+Mother, Andy, Pete, Elvira and mr Davidt

The gig was fenomenal as was the Star&Garter night (greetz to Katie).
All in all a superb weekend, I nearly overdosed on Moz.

This MUST be a lie! While I would LOVE the Smiths to reunite (I'm not someone who believes in this 'don't tarnish the legacy' nonsense as I believe that Moz/Marr together could still create something far better than they do apart), I don't believe that Rourke could ever think it possible. Such is the depth of Morrissey's resentment of Mike Joyce and so vehemently has he put paid to all talk of reunions that I can't imagine Rourke would even bother to hope for such a thing. Is this a case of journalists who lie, perhaps?

I saw the Rourkester there wandering around with a blonde girl. Not many people seemed to recognise him but when he walked past I said 'Hi Andy'. He looked over and nodded and then, as someone above wrote went into block 113 - I was in 115.

Having seen Rourke, I did momentariliy allopw by imagination ti run away with itself and daydreamed that Moz was going to invite some 'special guests' onto the stage - and a surprise Smiths reunion might take place.
