The first two paragraphs show the woman has no idea what she's talking about. If she'd listened to the new album she'd know he's written plenty of songs about America. And she obviously hasn't seen what most 50 year old englishmen look like!

Spending the past six years in Los Angeles seems to have aged Morrissey. Perhaps he has trouble writing songs about the place.
