On BBC Radio 2 (88 to 91FM), Jeremy Vine is this morning holding a vote on the greatest opening line in rock. You can vote for Morrissey's 'Everyday Is Like Sunday' opener - "Trudging slowly through wet sand, back to the bench where your clothes were stolen".

Competition includes Bill Hayley & The Comets, The Rolling Stones and Manic Street Preachers.

    Can't vote yet, but I gather it will change daily so you can vote? What's all that about? Anyway, we must all vote - have you seen the other contenders?! Not a patch.
