        That single cover has GOT to be false. Why?

        a) it bears NO resemblance to the album artwork
        b) it's crap

        The album cover is pretty cool but it reminds i'm not sure if record stores are going to alter the cover since Morrissey is holding a Tommy Gun. The Irish Blood, English Heart looks a bit like Austin Powers-Reggae.

            Ok I like the cover to Irish Blood. It's cool and reminds me of the sorta covers that Belle&Sebastian used to do. And it may have to do with the sorta retro covers that used to grace the sleeves of the Attack releases.

              but iwish there wasnt all that dead black space at the bottom of the album cover. ideally id have no black space at all and hav the title written beside moz above the gun [like on the website]. i at least would want the title to be right at the bottom with no black underneath and juste enlarge the image above. ah well....

                I can't believe people bitch about the cover art on the CD and single. The cover of the CD is great- maybe the best cover yet. The single cover is fine, too. It's the music that will make or break the CD. There is a new Morrissey single, a new video, a new CD, a new DVD and a NEW TOUR on the way!!!! Enjoy this time while you can. Don't bitch about the cover art!

                                  Now that I've seen it closely (on the pdf file) I'm quite sure the cover is photoshoped. That is, the original photo had just Moz on standing with his arms crossed and his head bent. The machine gun was added later cause it's the logo of the Attack label.
