Don't people get tired of spending entire days just trying to be in front at a concert? It seems weird to exhaust so much time/energy just to stare at a musician. Celebrity worship, that's what it is. So we can live vicariously through celebrities, the people who do have choice while we, on the other hand, are controlled by the ruling class.

Getting Older and loving it! (Score:0)
Morrissey touched on something in that interview that struck a chord with me in a way that his lyrics have done for years. When I eas much younger I was very critical of myself and never believed myself to be of worth or to have any sense of standing in this life. I assumed that I was just passing by like the wind with no impact or relevance to others. I used to see people much older than me and really look up to them. I thought they had it sussed. They knew how to behave, where to go, what to do, what to say and knew who to know and looked how to look. I was so envious and again felt that I could never be part of that.
Yet as I got older - I'm now almost 28 - I began to find a deeper in meaning in all the inward things I heaped to the back of my mind deeming them worthless in the face of all this supposed beauty before me. Age made me realise that all that I looked up to was really not of much worth after all and in truth in often beneath me and alien to me. I began to look at myself and realise that what I have for myself is of greater worth than what most of these people can offer. I believe that more than ever now and have never been more happy to be myself. I look at the world and think that I got the better end of the deal. Indeed the world IS full of crashing bores and I am not one!
Thank you Morrissey once again for seemingly being on the same page as me. It's always nice to know you are out there too!
