It's pretty safe to say that Mike and Andy were just back-up singers in the Smiths. They didn't write the songs nor did they make any of the instrumentals.

didn't Moz imply a couple of months back that it had been dropped? does this eman Joyce is going to be running out around the festival circuit/MEN arena issuing writs left, right and centre?

I thought only Andy had one.

I'm a drummer and Joyce was such an inspiration to me since 1986...I Know It's Over, Shoplifters, Never Had No One Ever, there was so much he did that I found truly inspiring. Then, I got the Smiths "Complete Picture" videotape and was kind of startled to find he wasn't much of a showman, especially on "Shoplifters", that song has such HEAVY drumming, my mind pictures buildings falling when I listen to it (this might be a ghastly comparison for some but it's the same pattern for Slayer's intro to "Criminally Insane"). I just ignored Joyce's lame tv performance, thinking it was because they were lip-synching they weren't taking it all very seriously. But then, over the years I kept getting little disappointments here and there that led up to today when he didn't even know what "Panic" was. This is SO hard for me, but it looks like I'm just going to have to face the fact that Joyce is not the drum God I thought he was. Does anyone else have any last input before I kick him out of my soul? I'll give him a chance if someone can convince me, but it's going to be tough, I mean, he's a DJ now...
