Yes, it's true, they have gone on sale ahead of the date given on the MCD site. Thanks to jules's message in the forum I've got my tickets, but I hope there aren't a lot of people disappointed come Monday. Why is it so difficult to have the date announced be the date tickets actually go on sale ?

Just got my tickets for this, thanks for the warning. There is also a Heinken festival in Cork on this weekend and they normally juggle the acts between Dublin & Cork. What chance Morriseey come's back to Cork scene of two great Smiths shows and one solo Morrissey show.

Would love to see Moz but is it a festival as such on the Saturday - e.g. will there be loads of fans of other bands playing or is it just Moz and support? The Bowie thing was like a football match with both sets of fans chanting & hating each other.
