Richard Martin, who used this site often, and had a journal here, passed away on the 7th of March after a lengthy battle with cancer. He had many friends on the site.

            I remember his story about having tea with his mother. I quite enjoyed it and found him a very interesting person.

            I'm so very saddened to hear he has left us. I'm sure he knows he was loved here and that he added a little something to each of us who read him.

                      Sad news.
                      I didn't know him but remember reading some of his journal entries that were very comical.
                      One thing that immediatley comes to mind is him writing about how pleased he was to see his name mentioned in type when he had submitted a story for this site.
