You Are The Quarry is produced by Jerry Finn and engineered by Joe McGrath.

The album has been recorded at Sarm in Berkshire (England), and Conway Studio in Los Angeles.

Songs recorded on the session are:

"America Is Not The World"
"Irish Blood, English Heart"
"I Have Forgiven Jesus"
"Come Back To Camden"
"I'm Not Sorry"
"The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores"
"How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel?"
"The First Of The Gang To Die"
"Teenage Dad On His Estate"
"I Like You"
"The Never-Played Symphonies"
"The Slum Mums"
"You Know I Couldn't Last"
"Home Is A Question Mark"
"The Public Image"
"It's Hard To Walk Tall When You're Small"

The album is set for release on the Attack label through Sanctuary Records in the second week of April.

Attack are also negotiating with Nancy Sinatra to release her version of "Let Me Kiss You" as a single. The song was originally recorded by Morrissey for inclusion on You Are The Quarry. Also, Attack plan to release a single by James Maker (ex-Raymonde) called "I'm Unbearable."

haze writes:

It seems as though music media the world over have been paying close attention to Morrissey-Solo these last few days.

Yesterday nme.com made mention of Morrissey's latest album on their main page, sighting Morrissey-Solo as a reference. Then this morning, on MuchMusic - Canada's version of MTV - as music news was shown at the bottom of the screen throughout video play, the statement: "Morrissey to release comeback album entitled 'You Are The Quarry' according to fansite Morrissey-Solo.com" passed by viewers numerous times.

So finally, it looks as though not only Morrissey, but Morrissey-Solo as well are recieving long overdue world attention! Viva the Quarry!

---
After years of never mentioning the site they are starting to mention it, but the irony is the credit for the info should go to true-to-you.net as clearly stated.

He played the songs really slow and if not for the love of Moz, would have drained them off all the energy and emotion. This of course is my opinion. It's funny that you say, that "he was worried the drums might hit him back", because I thought the same thing. Anyways, I'll wait to see what the new record brings, I'm going to be happy either way, but I'm disappointed in the choice of drummers. Should have called Spike or Spencer. Either one of those would have provided the energy that was missing on the last tour.
