There's an interview with a very great indie band The Decemberists w/ a mention of the Moz. I just saw them play in Seattle and they're quite an amazing group -- be sure check them out.

Question 19:

19. What do you know that nobody else in your band knows?

A categorical knowledge of all the Morrissey b-sides.

    Tarkio (Score:1)
The Decemberists are a fabulous band and if you like them you will probably like the lead singer, Colin Meloy's, first band called Tarkio. I don't know if Tariko's music is widely available, probably only in certain parts of Montana, but man it is some good stuff.

I just wanted to say how good this band is, and no joke, so are The Januaries. Pick up their (The Januaries) Eponymous debut. And, I am not one who is easily impressed.

I like The Januaries entire album, but especially "Chocolate and Strawberries," which is a great song.

Debbie Diamond (not to be confused with the 80's porn star of the same name) is hot and has a great voice.

If this seems like "troll" than so be it. I just thought "yeah the Decemberists are a quality act but I love The Januaries too."

          i think they're boring. (Score:0)
I bought their album and the best thing I could say about it is that it reminded me of Neutral Milk Hotel, who are in fact, also a little boring. I guess I should listen to it more carefully, but it seems more of a chore than a pleasure.

I think the same thing about the Thrills. If you like Neil Young you might like them. But again, I need to give it a better listen.
