Moz mentioned in 'Famous Football Supporters' site

Hi everyone, just noticed on the website: 'Famous Football Supporters' that Morrissey, 'singer, former frontman of The Smiths' has been mentioned as a fan of Manchester United. This makes me jealous, as the 'musicians' that support my club are Elton John and Geri Haliwell!

And he wears a t-shirt with our club badge on it from time to time...

I thought moz was quoted as saying he wasnt a fan? Im rather confused oon this issue. also is there a reason he then weres west ham football shirts if a) he's a manchester united fan or b) he's not interested in football anyway?

I dream of the day he will where a lancashire county cricket shirt!! ahhhh bliss

Johnny Marr is a blue.... (Score:0)
Just noticed that on same website, Mr Marr is a Man City fan (which I knew anyway)
Thus if Mr Moz is a fan of the Scum and then Mr Marr is a City boy, well tis no wonder they split up and that they'll never ever work again together, in light of the Scum's last decade of superiority.

I also noticed that Philip Schofield is a Cardiff City fan!!! Can just imagine him running with the Soul Crew with Gordon the Gopher.

How fascinating.... must check out who is a Darlington supporter next.

Amongst the supporters of the team that is home to the mighty Emile Heskey is Mark Owen, the ex-Take That singer.

I suppose the fact that Elvis Costella is also one of us makes up for that, in a Michael Owen kind of way.
