I am writing this a few hours after finding out that a Jane Taft, aka 18th pale descendant, a frequent visitor to Morrissey-solo, died as the result of a car accident yesterday. She was two months shy of her twenty first birthday.

She was the best person you could hope to know. Smart, kind, always funny - there aren't enough words to describe how special Jane was. She had many friends here. There are friends that you have on here that you will never meet. This news is for them.

Visitation will be in LI, NY 9/16 - 9/17 – Please email me for more info: Mike.Yazinsky@instinet.com.

Ecclesiastes 1:4 (earth will stand to time indefinite)

Two of my friends died of cancer before they reached 20.

While I do believe in God, tragedies like this give one pause and really make one wonder why so many horrible things happen...human suffering, homelessness, starvation, tattered lives, broken hearts, disease of the body & mind, war, murder, crime, and young lives taken before their time.

Whatever your lot in life, whether you are one of the victors, one of the disillusioned, or someone in between, please today, give thanks for your life.

Lest we forget how fragile we are.
