In the October issue of Spin Magazine there is a full page story (page 50) on a new novel about the Smiths entitled "How Soon is Never." It is written by Spin writer Marc Spitz, who is apparently an obsessive Smiths fan, and the book is a fictional account of him trying to get the Smiths back together (based on real experiences, however). There are some nice shots of Morrissey in this article, and plenty of gladioli.

The article is called "Meeting is Murder" and features a picture of two Marc Spitz's sitting in his office across the table from another with two large, beautiful pictures of Morrissey and just to add that extra touch of mozzy a vase with gladioli. Also featured is a feature and review on the new band "Pretty Girls Make Graves" who of course got their name from the Smiths song of the same name. The Smiths are discussed in the review and feature.
