Grandaddy mentions Smiths on Subterranean (MTV2)

On last week's episode of MTV2's "Subterranean" the guests were Grandaddy. While telling the story of how he got run over by a tour bus, guitarist Jim Fairchild said "we had just finished watching a Smiths video".

p.s.
the latest issue of Wired magazine has a section called "What's on your ipod?" and Ben Lee lists "Shoplifters of the world unite", which he's been covering live recently, as has been mentioned here before.

    Saw Grandaddy at the Astoria recently. They were absolutely superb. fantastic visuals.
