Yes!...Morrissey, in person came into my place of work on Tuesday. The Virgin Megastore in Chester U.K., he played here in 1997. Aviator shades, kangol hat.... after a ponder around, he bought 5 "On the Buses" videos. Really shy, he was, said "he looked fat" on the Channel 4 documentary. But insisted the videos were not for him, but couldn't wait to get them home. What a man!

      'On the Buses' was a popular British sit-com in the 1970s. The main character was a bus driver.

      saucy sea-side postcard style humour... smutty, touch vulgar... not unlike the carry-on films...

      So crap they are rather good..

    Dear Diary,

    Got up today and went for a wander and ponder around the big record store in town. Bought a load of "On the buses" videos. Despite my cunning disguise of Kangol hat and shades I was still recognised by the handsome young assistant...I told him I thought I looked fat in the telly programme the other week...Cheeky blighter didn't disagree!

    Came home and watched the videos then had a sandwich.

    Tired now. Time to climb the wooden staircase.

    Wait a minute, who's that at the front door?

    Oh god it's bloody Nancy Sinatra...what does SHE want!

            Ha!. I posted on this board last year that I was watching "On the Buses" movies. Its all wonderful and I like the idea of Morrissey going home watching "On The Buses" and drinking tea, than hanging out in LA.

                one of my favourite cities in england.
                such a gorgeous city !!!!

                home to some of the first pubs that didnt let u in with trainers on in the early nineties.
                loads of amazing sites to see, a really clean place, oh, and loads of cool pubs............

                Doesn't it just fill your hat with joy that someone as British as Morrissey is living in L.A,it's just fantastic & if Morrissey thinks he is fat well gosh there is hope for the rest of us.........

                May sound controversial, but I actually got off with a bird in Tenerife who was a dead ringer for the "delightful" Olive. Her real name was Sabrina and she lived in Bedford (UK), but I'll keep that to myself....

                Too much sun, too much local brew, too much testosterone.....but I loved her (for a week).
