            ...They chose a great picture! Any of those crazy cynics that say that there should have been a brand new photo, well this isn't a major release or anything, now is it (Maybe to us it is, cos we haven't had anything new for nigh on three years!) but it's a lovely shot anyway.
            And nice that he's standing outside a pub.. under the influence of course ;)

                in my point a view, this release can let us be slightly optimistic. maybe moz wants to create an atmosphere where his name already sounds familiar.
                people will remember he's there, and he will show the sales numbers to those record companies who will hopefully offer him what he's willing to take.

                      Just thought I'd let you know that CD Universe is also making Morrissey's 'Under the Influence' available as a pre-order. I have always found that in terms of price and speed of delivery, CD Universe seems to be quite better. That's my opinion. Go check it out.

                        It would appear that this album has already sold more than twice as many copies over Amazon.co.uk as Johnny Marr's effort has managed, despite the latter's head start. See the sales figures for yourself here [amazon.co.uk]. And yet Marr can get an album published and Morrissey is always moaning about having "no offers". Sigh.

I've also just purchased the "All Men Have Secrets" book which completes my library of 'seminal' Smiths/Morrissey books.                                         Yes, I'll get this. The tracks on it are very rare and probably wonderfully placed. And the songs that saved Morrissey's life are played by a certainly unique choice of artists... I've found other tracks from most of them to be quite enjoyable.
                                        However, I do wish that such a wonderful picture of him were placed on an album with tracks that he made!
