Morrissey-solo.com is such a great news site in part because of David's hard work, and partly because of the huge community of Moz fans out there.

We were thinking that similar energies could produce a huge and valuable Morrissey Encyclopedia online: all the lyrics, commentary, trivia, histories, intrigue and stories of the Mozzer.

It's called MozWiki - http://www.drownout.com/wiki - a website that any user can edit, add to, and update...all about Moz. We've made a start and would like to invite folks to come add their own stuff. There's a long way to go, but we can do it!

    Its a great idea (Score:1)
but it would help if you bought the domain name - otherwise, people will keep forgetting where it is. As things stand, M-S.com's search facility is a pretty unbeatable source of Morrissey trivia, which has been built up incrimentally over time. IMAET is also absolutely overflowing with tidbits.

It's going to take a while before the wiki is as rich as the hundreds of websites out there! Let's pitch in, eh?

Actually, the internet has been invented? (Score:2, Informative)
This is the kind of thing I think the Internet has made obsolete. Making a usable Morrissey dictionary will take a very long time, and even then, a search on Google (or even Morrissey-solo)for a particular topic will in most cases be more useful and updated.

Oh and by the way - there's already a complete library of Smiths/Morrissey song lyrics on the net, including commentaries.

As was said before the lyrics and stuff like that are superflous but stories... It'd be good to have a bank of Smiths/Morrissey stories. Things people remembered, anecdotes of their love, that isn't so searchable on this or any site.
