Thought we'd share that Louder Than Bombs is coming out on DVD/vhs in
late January (21rst I believe) via Vanguard Cinema

Great little film that deserves a shot here in the US.

I was one of the 100 Moz fans to see this a while back. I really didnt think it was that good but to each his own. So, what---they mention Elvis or James Dean. I mean there the greatest but I can name 25 other good movies that do the same as far as mentions. And BEWARE of the title of the movie. It is named that so you and I go an see it. I believe Morrissey would be very sickened by this filth.

Yes, and the music was removed. (Score:0)
Grow up people. The reason the music was removed wasnt based on the label saying so. Everybody knows by now that S.P.Morrissey was the one who had a problem with his music being used in "that" film. I agree with the other post this movie isnt that good just an attempt to use our rock-a-billy culture and profit off of it.Which is fine but, I think different movies could use the mans music better and for this I am glad no Smiths/Morrissey music was used.

Wow what a way to advertise Film-Kitchen they have absolutely nothing to do with Morrissey there just trying to lure you to their site. Hey Kirk Harris and Marc David your films are not very good. Loser sucked(Rebel Without A Cause rip-off)My Sweet Killer -what the heck was that about???(Oh,yeah Slingblade rip-off)Hard Luck man its the same old movie one after another. Louder Than Bombs really has nothing to do with these folks except maybe distibution but as far as being suduced into seeing any Kirk Harris/Marc David film. Stay away. My Life With Morrissey is where its at.

Hey, maybe you're into Morrissey, but keep away from movies, if you can only bullshit. I've seen this movie on Mannhein-Heidelberg Film Festival in Germany a while ago, and this title was widely regarded as one of the best of the entire fest. The movie has been also screened on Karlovy Vary, on Slamdance and zillion other film festivals, so shut the f--k up! I really don't care if other VANGUARD films are good or not, because it's just a distributor, but this one is really outstanding.

the bitterness of some comments here is so... common on this forum. it's sad, but it apparently became a rule here. and in this case it's especially unjust. this is a little indie film telling straight story about simple virtues. nicely shot and beautifully acted. it's circullating on vhs bootlegs here for some time and I really don't regret spending 90 minutes with it. not at all. yes, the smiths, presley, dean and co. are just a distant background here, but who cares? the story has its own direction and it's fast, sharp and funny.
ah, and no sepia here, so that's why it may be shitty to some.
