Dickon Edwards, formerly of Orlando - currently of Fosca, has a wonderful review of the Royal Albert Hall gigs in his Diaries. Even without the Moz input Dickon is endlessly fascinating and constantly beautiful.

Nice review by a nice man. Why don't we see more of him? He should have his own show, why isn't he interviewed by Gloria Hunniford? It's criminal.

..were they any good? They never made any real impact in the states. Any websites with their stuff?

As it happens, Tim Mark Chipping (of Orlando) has recently posted some demo tracks from the unreleased second album 'Sick Folk' (recorded after Dickon Edwards had already left) - you can download them here [blueyonder.co.uk] Orlando only released one album, "Passive Soul" which is now pretty hard to get hold of, I think - it was excellent, but not really anything like either Fosca or the post-Dickon Orlando (all IMHO.)

You can get some mp3s of Orlando and other fantastic RoMo bands (I recommend Dex Dexter and Plastic Fantastic) here:

I also recommend anything by FOSCA www.fosca.com
