 Joseph Kelly sends word that "Nothing Rhymed" by Gilbert O'Sullivan (lyrics) was covered by Morrissey at the Dublin show last night (Oct. 2).

    Shit, whaddya know? I've always liked this song. Also "Claire" and "Alone Again, Naturally".... All rather Morrithetic, if you think about it.

        I think he was joking about that...he said "You'll all be pleased to know that we've signed a new deal...*huge cheer from crowd*...yes, it's with Super Valu" (Super Valu is an Irish supermarket, I suppose like K-Mart in USA or M&S in England)

        oh my god! i have every gilbert o'sullivan album and have *always* thought that morrissey could (or should) make an awesome cover of his songs!

        You can hear Morrissey humming Nothing Rhymed now at mrs. Shankly's. I think it sounds great. At least it's not pub-rock arrangements for once.
