As a librarian I'm always poking around for stories on libraries. As a Moz fan, imagine my delight when I came across an article in The Guardian about Britian's oldest lending library in Manchester.

Then the article went on to mention Morrissey studying for his A-levels there! Morrissey once said that he was a "failed librarian." Wow.

Also as a librarian this makes me happy. Good to see that the library is now accepting that it's not just about books but providing the means for the public to access information.

Oddly enough my library is this afternoon hosting some hip hop artists. Rockin the library!

He's Morrissey! and needs no explanation. Surely.

Must go now and renew my books.
