Scary that all 5 of them are so damn good.

so the talk is that there's about two dozen new songs written. we've heard five so far. according to alain, these first five aren't necessarily the absolute best of the bunch.

all this is mere speculation, of course, but which of these new songs, if any, do you think will find themselves on official releases, and how?

my feeling is that the "Mexico" tracks should be released as a themed single, independent of the forthcoming album.
A Side: "The First Of The Gang To Die"
B Side: "Mexico"
CD Extra Track: "?" (maybe there's another latin themed song already written?)

"I Like You". i think this song should be a bonus track (b-side) on a CD single. (if released at all... this is by far my least favorite. its' no fault of Boz's, i just think the lyrics are weak)

"The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores". i could see this on the album. the title alone sums up Morrissey's view of contemporary culture. (a la "I just can't find my place in this world..."). this new album will be scrutinized by the world as Morrissey's last attempt at a comeback, so i think it's in his best interest to put his strongest ideologies and most beautiful compositions forward on this LP. Moz & Co. have alot of material to choose from, so there will be no excuse for a weak trackisting.

"Irish Blood English Heart". i'd bet everything i own that this is going to make the album. i wouldn't be at all surprised to see it as the LP's opener or closer. (probably the former). i really feel this is on par with Smiths stuff... a punchy three minute epic... conjuring the spirit of classic masterpieces like "The Queen Is Dead".

Shame that morrissey 81 doesn't have these first. IF she did she would probally steal it from vincent.

when all is said and done. i like this song very much. ID really do. And i believe it will be an a-side.

I heard some of moz's new stuff at the Tuesday night Albert Hall concert.

Did he just not like them or was it anything to do with the genocide of 1641-42? I'm not looking for a defense or justification of his actions just whether the Cromwell-haters know both sides of the arguement or just their own.

In reference to your banter about cdrs:

Yes we did sell cdrs in the past but not at the same price. Each cd was a mere $5, so you can't compare that to what that seller on ebay is putting them for- $10. We have STOPPED all selling and trading before the tour started. As you may not know we have lives and work, school, and constantly maintaining the site left us no more time to do any sorts of trades or sales at all. This unfortunately was the only way we could support ourselves in paying for the costs for the site. The money that we recieved from past sales went towards the site and the monthly bills that went along with it. And don't even think its cheap either, it has become a 3 digit figure every month now. We don't ask for any monetary contributions at all! The site is now being funded entirely by Liar and I, with no outside help.

Regarding the new tour recordings:

Yes we are recieving them from people who like to SHARE! How can you sit there and type "This is because the person who gave him the 5 mp3s of new songs gave him specific orders not to sell these." Are you some kind of magician that magically listened to our conversation between me and the guy who gave me the recordings? To my knowledge it was only I and him and no one else. Your silly, but you are 'anonymous' so that explains it. Also about the images thing...we haven't taken any images from other sites during this tour since we have our own and also the people who send them in wanting to contribute.

And lastly the mp3s I post are free! Have you ever paid to get them! Nope, but yet you still talk your nonsense and leach off the kind people. In other words...the selling of our mp3s on ebay was hurtful for me personally. I never made you pay to download them, but yet people want to sell them for their own profit.

In the future, if we do release the songs on cdr note that the money will go to paying the costs of the site. Unless you want to hand over about $150-$200 monthly to pay for the site...then we wouldn't be having any trouble would we?
