    please tell him not to play the Albert Hall, the sound there is absolutely shite! (it's renowned for this, it's not just my opinion) I know it's a lovely place, but I'd much rather see him somewhere where he'll sound great, why not Brixton Academy, the sound there is fantastic and it's a great venue. Or The Empire in Shepherds Bush. But please not the Albert Hall, give us a chance to hear you at your best!

    I have rang the Royal Albert Hall and can confirm that the posting is correct tickets on sale from 9am on Wednesday 7th. Stop whinging about he venue, the hall is a fantastic setting, and I cannot wait to get my tickets sorted. Don't think we are going to see more UK dates somehow, so get on the phone for the RAH sharpish.

      monday, 9a.m.: just called the royal albert hall box office (020-75893853) and spoke to a guy called "barker" or something like that. he told me that nothing at all is confirmed. he did not know about any tickets going on sale on wednesday 9 a.m.

        i just got four tickets for september 17 from gigsandtours.com (they went on sale there from 9am thismorning), so if you can't wait till wednesday you can buy them now.

            MOREOVER,
            Way Ahead/Gig & Tours are actually selling tickets that they do not have yet. Just got off the phone with the RAH (like hundreds of people I imagine) and they told me they were 'baffled' [sic] that tickets were already going on sale because it hadn't already been decided how many tickets would be allocated to the Way Ahead Group.

            Going from the USA here... I had been planning a trip to London to return on 9/16. Definitely staying one more night. Bought my standing tickets for 9/17 this morning. I live in the East coast here so I was not gonna get to see him... who knew I would travel the other way to meet the man in his home turf!!??
