Morrissey has asked Pony Club to support him on his American tour which begins in August. It's now down to sorting out the finances and whether the band can stop working on their next album for a month. The plan is to get the album out early 2003, so time is very tight.

TO ALL OUR FRIENDS AND FANS WONDERING ABOUT THE MORRISSEY TOUR I CAN CONFIRM THAT WE WERE ORIGINALLY OFFERED THE FIRST 8 DATES FROM SALT LAKE CITY TO YUMA AND DUE TO FINANCIAL RESTRAINTS AND THE FACT THAT IT WAS ONLY EIGHT SHOWS, WE WERE UNABLE TO TAKE UP THE OFFER. HOWEVER IF THERE WAS A POSSIBILITY OF EXTRA SHOWS WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECONSIDER.WE WILL POST ALL OFFICIAL DETAILS ON OUR NEWS PAGE AND WITH REFERENCE TO LAS VEGAS ALTHOUGH IT SOUNDS GOOD, THIS IS ALSO A RUMOUR AND WE WOULD ASK THAT OUR "MANAGER" IF HE WISHES TO LOOK OFFICIAL, PLEASE SPELL SACK CORRECTLY ....THE MANAGEMENT.
