A short note to let you know that (ex?) Divine Comedy singer Neil Hannon has quoted "Panic" and mentioned our lovely Steven when analysing tracks by Ballboy and Jonathan Richman at Gallery of Sound.

Even when the article is not significant at all, it was really nice to see one of my favourite composers valuing great artists as Him, J. Richman and Hefner (!)

yes, it's really nice when you find out talented musicians (or -in a general sense- artists) admire others talented musicians.
Neil's comment made me think he has recuperated his *mind* and maybe he comes back to his own sources/origins bringing us a beautiful album like "Promenade", "Liberation", etc... like an apology for his disappointed "Degeneration".... ooppss!! I'm sorry "Regeneration"!.
But I must disagree with Neil about Hefner... I mean they are *GRATE* but I didin't like at all "Dead Media". I think "TFW" and "WLTC" are they best works.
I can say nothing about J. Richman 'cause I don't know his work -yet-. I apologize for that... but give me a few days and then I'll tell you (that you've right again).
