Alain Whyte on BBC6 report - UK/Europe tour possible in Oct./Nov., new songs will be played

Just finished listening to Alain Whyte in the BBC 6 studio and he pretty much confirmed everything stated previously... A few more bits: he made it sound like the album has already been recorded, they're just waiting for a record deal (apparently Morrissey is holding out for one of the biggies because he wants this album to be noticed); they will be playing a few of the new songs during the upcoming U.S./Japan dates; and, they MAY add European dates in October/November.

These are the questions I mailed to the studio (BBC6)

      1. Can Alain confirm the rumour that the possible new single will be called 'Mario's Dance'?

      2. Morrissey is known as a very witty and sharp man ... can Alain recall a hilarious moment during rehearsals or in the studio (or on stage) ??

He answered the second question during his interview with Liz Kershaw ... and a couple of hours later I received a mail from Mark Sheldon (BBC) with a reply to the first question:

"Alan says 'that's ridiculous!' and not true."

If he can play Anchorage, he can damn well play Stockholm. In fact, I don't mind where in Scandinavia he comes to, I'll be there.

Since he's been to see The (International) Noise Conspiracy, we could always hope he'll let them open for him! It would be brilliant.
