Morrissey's LA Weekly ad for a new drummer (apparently)

I know some people have issues with Ambitious Outsiders, but they appear to have come up with an exclusive again. On their website there's an ad for a drummer littered with Moz lyric references, taken from the LA Weekly. Apparently Chris got the scoop from Boz at his gig at the weekend, along with some cryptic details about a summer gig in a huge LA venue.

This would certainly be in keeping with Morrissey's penchant for an ever-changing rhythm section.

THERE IS AN AD IN THE L.A. WEEKLY AND IT SEEMS QUITE SUSPICIOUS!! ON PAGE 112 THERE IS A BLOCK AD THE READS:

...

THIS IS NOT A JOKE!! THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL KIND OF HELP WANTED AD. ITS NOT EVEN IN THE CLASSIFIED AD SECTION, ITS IN THE SECTION WHERE THE LOCAL CLUBS AND CURRENT SHOWS ARE. THE AD IS A PROFESSIONAL AD. ITS SEEMS REALLY MYSTERIOUS TO ME AND I THINK IT IS A CLEAR POSSIBILITY FOR HIM TO LOOK FOR A DRUMMER SINCE HE HASNT HAD A STABLE ONE SINCE SPENCER COBRIN AND WHO KNOWS WHERE SPIKE SMITH IS THESE DAYS. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!!!

and what does the guy who stood outside of moz's house and hung out to ask boz some questions have to say about it? i personally don't see anything wrong with it. its a P.O. Box and it might cut down on the number of times his true home address gets copied and passed around if the fans knew they had somewhere to send a letter to, and it circumvents those who run around claiming they can give him your letter and you don't know if he got it or not. and this way, people do know its the correct address...and so forth.

it's a good thing. besides, you can pretty much tell by the contents of the package if its fanmail or if its an audio tape/VHS tape.
