"November Spawned a Morrissey" - at Cinema Classics (NYC, Nov. 24)

An anonymous person writes: According to their website, on Saturday, November 24 beginning at 12:00 midnight, Cinema Classics in New York City (East 11th Street) will host an event called "November Spawned a Morrissey," with karaoke of Smiths/ Morrissey songs and screenings of Smiths/ Morrissey videos. Admission is $5.50 (includes a free drink), and more information can be found on their site: www.cinemaclassics.com (select "Screening Room" on the home page, and click on the 24th on the November calendar. Morrissey info, with image (from Bona Drag) appear at the bottom of the screen for the 24th (scroll down a bit).

Cinema Classics also writes: Come down to 'Cinema Classics' on November 24th for an all new 'open-mic video'!  Watch your favourite Morrissey videos on a twelve-foot screen, while a couple of rolling-rock's later you rush the stage and croon away to 'You're The One For Me Fatty'!

Five-dollar admission include a free drink from the cafe/bar - sign-up starts at 10pm.

    Rolling Rock isn't very tasty you know... I reccommend anybody going to drink proper beverages - such as John Smiths or Tetleys... or even Stella Artois (Mmmmm!).

    Mmm, maybe you can't get that in New York. Whatever... I hope you all have a great time. Someone sing 'hairdresser on fire' for me!
