Just came across an article in the latest issue of BLENDER magazine, from the people of MAXIM. There is a story about Ryan Adams who play Alt-Country type of music. In the article it states that "He's sensitive without being drippy, funny but pained - a Morrissey who articulates the anguish of straight people. It also notes that Morrissey is one of his idols. Just a little tidbit to pass along.

/a Morrissey who articulates the anguish of straight people/
Morrissey articulates the anguish of straight people better than anyone ever, so that`s a pointless statement really.
Adams` "Heartbreaker" album (whose cover slightly remember`s Alain Delon on TQID) opens with an "Argument With David Rawlings Concerning Morrissey", which I didn`t care to hear at all, but anyway it`s there if anyone does.
Yet another lazy journalist trying to relate Moz to some wannabe. Well, at least He was compared to Ryan, not Bryan Adams.

I don't consider Ryan Adams a "wannabe". I think he's a talented guy, and Whiskeytown were a great band. But I suppose I'm reading too much into this...I forgot that all too often, anyone besides Morrisssey is considered a "wannabe".
