MTV was doing this flashback of 80's stuff for its 20th anniversary. The host (Dave Holmes) was sporting a SMITHS shirt throughout the show. Just thought I'd let you know. Don't think they passed any SMITHS/MOZ vids though. Wow, what a surprise! Hmm, I guess the shirt is enough, it is after all American MTV. By the way, it was the QUEEN IS DEAD shirt, the one of them by the Salford Lad's Club.

I was watching the MTV anniversary special last night and they were clips of MTV from 1986-1991 and they showed a brief and I mean brief snippet of Morrissey. Damn! Why don't they show more?

Weren't all of the VJs wearing things that they had in their closet that tey had been meaning to throw away? That is what I heard when I saw this thing on MTV. Eh...pretty sad, since I have that same Smiths shirt (have had it for a long time), and it is quite damaged...but I don't plan on throwing it away anytime soon. If Dave was serious about wanting to throw that shirt away...he must be crazy.

Sorry, but Dave Holmes cannot pull off "The Smiths look"... he's too big. And the white jacket just emphasizes it more. Only boys who weigh like 140 can pull this off. Don't get me wrong here, I desperatly wish this "look" works for me, but I'm too big (and too female!)

But anyway, it was still great to see someone on TV wearing a Smiths shirt...
Speaking of Smiths shirts on the small (and big) screens... ever notice that the girl in that movie, "Houseguest" is wearing a green one towards the middle of the movie? Sorry for rambling...
