Thanks to all of the support I received in regards to my suggestion to do a book of Morrissey fan stories, my proposal was accepted by ECW Press. They have agreed to publish the book, so now all I need is your stories.

As a long time Morrissey/Smiths fan, I am very excited about this project and I hope that you will help me make it a success.

Please check out the website for the book and submit your thoughts, stories, and photos.

Thanks again for all your help in getting this project off the ground!

I just wanted to say that I think your idea is wonderful, and offer much congratualtions on the book deal. It's nice to see something different being written about Morrissey, something that is a true work of love for all involved. I wish I had something to submit!

That sums up my tribulations as a morrissey fan.

All Men Have Secrets vol. II? (Score:1)
Is this book going to take the same sort of form as the book "All Men Have Secrets"? where fans wrote about particular Smiths songs? (Highly enjoyable and recommended for those who don't know it/haven't read it) Or can the stories just be about anything?

Does the storiy have to be about Morrissey's solo career, or can they be Smiths stories too?

Jack David, the publisher of ecw Press was one of my teachers at publishing school. I'm happy to see his company doing something like this.

Oh, why can't I capitalize ecw press without the filter claiming I'm yelling and rejecting my post? The filter sucks.

Call me a cynic, but I love the line 'I hope you can help me make this a success'.
Translated as ' I hope you can do all the work and i get a shed loads of dosh for doing jack shit'.
Having said that, no one is forced to buy it, so good luck, in the mean time, i suggest people who havent read it, get a copy of 'All men have secrets'.
