My friend kim sent me this yesterday, do not know if this is accurate.
In Hollywood last night at the Palace Theatre, Just a regular old skinhead/punk show, New York Hardcore band Agnostic Front played, and British Oi! band, the Business played.

As we're walking around the corner to the venue, I see a man standing in front on the street who looks very familiar. I look at him, but on closer inspection, and realizing that people were going up to him, shaking his hand, taking pictures with him, and he had a British accent, I realized, that yes indeed, Moz had come to our punk rock show! believe it or not. I watched Moz sit in the balcony and throughly enjoy a punk show.

I was there as well. As I was skankin in the pit, I felt this strong push at my back. I turned around and it was none other than Moz himself. He said "You want some of this bitch". He continued to rule the pit and eventually stood in the center with arms in the air and said "I'm the king of the world!!!". Quite an evening indeed.

Yes, I was there for the great event. I was standing outside the place after the excellent show (well, all the bands sucked except for the Business) near the parking lot. I was looking down the walkway for my sister when all of a sudden I spotted Alain Whyte. He was wearing a bright purple shirt. I thought, "Oh my god, that's Alain." Then I immediately looked for Morrissey. And there he was. He was wearing jeans and a dark shirt with a black jacket over it (not a suit jacket, just a regular-type jacket). They came up the walk and I started to get nervous. Morrissey had his arm linked with that of a young Asian girl. Alain was by himself. Morrissey didn't look like he wanted to be bothered much, and since talking to him really freaks me out, I let him pass by unaccosted. But I called out to Alain. He didn't hear me at first, but on the second time I yelled his name he turned around and walked back to me. He gave me a warm smile and shook my hand. "How are you doing?" he asked me. "Great!" I said, and he turned around to catch up with Morrissey and the mystery girl. I watched them walk to the back of the lot but didn't follow them to their car or anything. Alain is a hell of a nice guy. I know some people will think I'm really stupid for not trying to say something to Morrissey, but he is really intimidating to me. I tried to talk to him at the Troubadour about a year ago but he didn't even say one word. Just nods and shakes of the head and stuff like that. And I feel like I shouldn't bother him or something. My sister also saw Moz walk out of the Palace (she was at the end of the walk near the exit), and when she said, "Oh my god, Morrissey," as he walked by he shook his head and mouthed "no no no no" like he didn't want to talk to anybody. But Alain shook her hand. Alain really made my night on Saturday.

By the way, Morrissey looks like he has aged about 10 years since I saw him last July. Yikes! He did not look well. Perhaps he HAD been in the mosh pit and I didn't notice him. I'm sure I looked like hell myself, though. Hah!

P.S. I'm not making this up. For once.

I was able to spot the men as well. I was outside towards the exit door and wasn't even aware that Moz was inside so it totally took me by surprise. Anyways, I was waiting for some friends to come out and Alain was the first to come out. I said, Alain!, and he stopped and shook my hand. I asked how he was enjoying his evening and he replied, "Swell, I'm on my way for some drinks and it will be even better, ha ha". Soon after Alain came out, Moz and Wendy came strolling out. They saw mw speaking with Alain and Moz said "Is he with you?" and Alain said "So what if he is?" and they all laughed. I shook Moz's hand and walked with them for a brief minute. They were headed to an Italian spot around the corner for wine. I gave them some time to arrive and showed up about 30 minutes later. I did not want to disturb them but Alain and Moz spotted my friends and I and bought us a round of Cabernet! Holy shit! I was so excited. I thanked them and let them enjoy their evening. It was so cool watching them hang out that evening. It will always be a story for my friends and I to remember. If you are reading this, thanks guys!
