That's fantastic. Does anyone know if it's a direct translation or his own words?

Whatever, that was gorgeous. It would have sounded even better if it was 'our Moz' singing and dancing as only he can, but it just goes to show how timeless the songs actually are.

I'm a sucker for the spanish language anyway, but to a Smiths song... Well, I'm moved anyway. There's surely few Smiths covers that can beat that!

    Muy Bien!

Pretty cool. I'm kind of amazed this is getting released, but happy - it's cool. Makes me want to form a band and sing Smiths songs.

He seems like poor man's Enrique Iglesias (if that's possible...) trying damn hard to win some crediblity but nontheless being completely ridiculous and teenie-bopper.... really folks, you can't be serious praising him for this poor thing... (yeah, I know, I'll be called 'racist' and whatnot but believe me - I just don't like it.... viva El Vez, hahaha)

Iīve seen some of you like the cover and some donīt. Iīm a spanish guy who will always be thankful to Mikel Erentxun since he was the one that made me discover The Smiths, and then Morrissey. The cover was released in 1992, in an album called "Naufragios", and he Mikel also has a cover of "Everyday is like Sunday" in his 1998 album "Acrobatas". The song in spanish is called "Todo es igual que siempre".

Teeny bopper??? Hmmm. This is a perfect tribute from a man that is very talented himself. I do not speak spanish nor do I usually truly appreciate songs translated and recrooned. Sometimes they do work though (think Duran Duran's - Somebody Else Not Me)and this one surely does. Any chance of someone posting Mikel's version of Sunday? It would be most welcomed. Anyone know any other singers versions of Moz songs or any language for that matter. It would be cool to see a list of other versions of Smiths and Moz songs.
